Process
WEEK 1:

MONDAY: You will choose research three potential topics for your argumentative essay.
​
TUESDAY: You will split into your assigned workshop group with three other students to whom you will present your potential topics and gain insight from your peers as well as provide them with feedback through email.
​
WEDNESDAY: You will research in depth your chosen topic. Please find at least three sources that you plan to use in your essay along with the writing resources that I have provided for you. Please also submit a typed outline of your essay by 11:59 PM through email (ahk16@my.fsu.edu).
​
THURSDAY: You will begin writing your essay. Aim to complete the introduction and first body paragraph.
​
FRIDAY: Finish writing the first draft of your essay over the weekend. Email a copy of your essay draft to me (ahk16@my.fsu.edu) as well as the members of your group by Sunday at 11:59PM.

WEEK 2:
​
MONDAY: You will work with the same workshop group from last week. Critique the three essays you receive from your group members using the comments feature in the review tab of Word. Also write 4-5 sentences of feedback for each peer at the end of the word document. Email your feedback to your peers by 11:59 PM.
​
TUESDAY: Use the third document in the resources tab to learn about citing sources in MLA format. Please cite your sources for your essay accordingly.
​
WEDNESDAY: Edit your first draft while keeping the critiques from your peers in mind.
​
THURSDAY: Continue editing your first draft.
​
FRIDAY: Email the final copy of your 750 word argumentative essay to me (ahk@my.fsu.edu) by 11:59 PM.
